"The purpose of getting this show together at These Days is because it’s one of my favorite galleries in LA and to showcase people that I know are talented but might not necessarily show their work much and just do it for the joy of doing it. LA is full of people who chase fame and clout. There’s a lot of questions like ‘who are you?’ Or ‘what do you do?’ Or ‘what is your instagram?’

I wanted to curate something that diverts away from those types of questions. A photo show for the love of photography. For the love of real LA people, real street culture, punk, graffiti, skateboarding, documentary style photography without trying to be.

Yesterdays is here to celebrate our memories from the past and acknowledge that nothing is permanent and to remind us to remain present in the moment, enjoying the gifts we have now.
